Our Motto: "Making a Difference"
Mission Statement
The mission of the Rocky Ford Police Department is to make a difference in our community. We will accomplish this mission by being professional, responsive, and accountable to those we have chosen to serve.
Vision
To be a leader in the Arkansas Valley in the area of law enforcement. A collaborative effort where the police and citizens work together to solve everyday problems will be our constant focus.
Core Values
We commit to performing our duties with dedication and uncompromising honesty and integrity while respecting the rights of all people. We will use wisdom and apply common sense and fairness as we ethically and courageously stand up against all forms of evil and wrongdoing. We will not betray the trust bestowed upon us by the citizens of Rocky Ford, to whom we stand accountable.
Community Resources
CORA requests for criminal justice records will be treated as requests made under CCJRA. The legislative policy regarding access to criminal justice records under CCJRA is more limited than access to public records under CORA. Criminal justice records for a specific case are not subject to release until after the investigation has been closed, and it has been determined that release will not jeopardize any ongoing case.
For CCJRA requests please fill out the attached form and return by either email at sbarks@rockyfordpd.com or to the Rocky Ford Police Department. We are available Mon - Thur 7am to 5pm for requests and questions.
All requests must be submitted as listed above and include:
- Requestor's name
- Date requested
- Email Address
- Phone number
- Mailing Address
- Company name (if applicable)
- A detailed description of the specific information being requested or the case number.
For a completed auto incident you can follow this link https://www.crashdocs.org/ which has a cost of $4.25 if completed online.
For all CORA requests please follow this link https://www.cityofrockyfordco.gov/public-records-request.
